Who Are ECT?

Founded by Daniel Cukier (or Dan to his many clients, colleagues, and friends), ECT originally operated as a conference travel business, before expanding into luxury, personalised travel for private clients.

When ‘Club Med’ opened its doors in the UK in the nineties, Dan immediately saw the potential for luxury, all inclusive, resort travel and became one of the UK’s first Club Med agents.


With a passion for high-end luxury travel and an outstanding knowledge of summer and winter resorts, Dan become one of Club Med’s top agents. Over the next 25 years, ECT remained a huge champion of Club Med, consistently featuring in the top 5 Club Med agents in the UK.


Sadly, after a well fought battle, ECT lost Dan to cancer in November 2020, but the ECT story won’t stop there. Always remaining passionate about luxury holidays, travel, and most importantly, ECT’s loyal clientele, Dan left the ECT legacy in the hands of his sister-in-law, Esti, who worked alongside him in his final years. And while that era has ended, for ECT a new chapter is just beginning.

Still with the same core values for a highly personalised service, Esti runs ECT, supported by Rebecca, a former member of Club Med’s head office team.


Together this dynamic, female duo are continuing in the footsteps of their founder, honouring his memory and building the future of ECT, ensuring that Dan’s work lives on with every smile that a booking creates.

Rebecca Seward Kirby

Esti Cukier has extensive experience in HR and Office Management and her organisational skills are second to none. Priding herself on her customer service, Esti and the ECT team are ready to go the extra mile to create the ultimate, luxury holiday package for you to enjoy. Esti moved to ECT to support Dan, her brother-in-law, as his health declined, but through ECT the pair formed a solid working partnership and true family business. Now, as MD, Esti is looking to evolve the business, seeking to expand its reach with equally respected travel companies to offer greater choice and even more competitive options.
Esti is continuing Dan’s legacy by ensuring every client, past, present and future receive the full, personalised treatment that Dan and ECT have always prided themselves on.


Rebecca Seaward Kirby joined ECT in 2020. Having worked in-house at ‘Club Med’ UK Head Office for over 15 years, there is very little that Rebecca does not know about the organisation. A long-time fan of Club Med, Rebecca has travelled to over 50% of Club Med’s resorts around the world, giving her incredible insider knowledge on many destinations, enabling her to provide invaluable information and advice for clients, helping to add an extra special touch to their holiday.

A big advocate of a work/life balance, Rebecca combines raising three young daughters with working at ECT providing reliable, first-hand information in response to client queries, as well as completing & submitting quotes in record time.
