Here is our pick of adult only ( +18’s only) cruises. Four cruise lines stand out for having policies that exclude children.

Marella Cruises

Marella Explorer 2 only allows passengers over the age of 18. With no children allowed, all the space that is normally taken up with children or family activities has been given over to adult space including the luxury Champneys Spa with its infinity pool.

The ship is all inclusive including tips and a selection of drinks in its fares.

P and O Cruises

Two ships, Arcadia and Aurora are exclusively Adult Only, offering stylish, refined and elegant interiors and plenty of eateries and watering holes.

Both Saga ships, the 999-passenger Spirit of Discovery and the  999-passenger Spirit of Adventure cater for over 50’s only. The Spirit of Discovery sets a new standard for Saga and boasts a partnership with Jools Holland who will be entertaining on several cruises.

Fares include all meals (no surcharges for any restaurant), gratuities, Wi-Fi, most drinks (wine with lunch and dinner, soda, house spirits, draft beer and mocktails), fitness classes, transfers to/from the ship and shuttles into town from port.

Viking Ocean Cruises

All Viking Ocean Cruises have a minimum age of 18. All ships are identical and offer private balconies and luxurious spas ( some of the best in the industry).
